I have been eating at The Gateway for over 10 years and it has never disappointed!! I am a city girl however, the service, atmosphere and food is always great and I bring others to this little diamond every year! Everyone responds the same...they love it! Visiting here is always a special occasion and a time to get away and appreciate the Central Valley! This restaurant has everything you would expect in a city restaurant and a lot more...you can get a room! Enjoy the views, the water and the occasional CrItTeRs!

The aquarium in the Dining Room was so dirty, the fish couldn't be seen. Dead flies all over the windowsills. Extremely high prices, lousy food and service. Their claim to fame is location-near the River. If it ever dries up, so will they.

this place is under new management. the son is a manager/waiter and gives the worst service of any resturant i have ever visited. Did not understand the menu, and refused to bring our coffees out to us, but managed to bring the couple behind us their coffees because " they are my parents best friends "
